Our client, a leading company on the Luxembourg market, is looking for a

Data Engineer – Senior

MISSIONS

• Enhancing our data model in order to sustain future products developments
• Maintaining and improving our search engines capabilities
• Designing, implementing, testing and deploying data pipelines solutions
• Collaborating with our frontend and backend developers in the architecting phases
• Developing solution matching with high quality standards
• Supporting production systems to ensure sustainability
• Contributing to the company data strategy
• Documenting structure, process and design of all implemented solutions

PROFILE

• At least 7 years of experience in a similar role
• Fluent in French and English (Level B2 minimum)
• Experience working in an iterative development environment using Jira Software

IT SKILLS

1. Solid programming skills in backend development

• Python (Flask, Django or equivalent)
• RESTful API
• SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB or equivalent)

2. Practical expertise in search and data pipelines

• Search and analytics engine with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Task queuing (Celery or equivalent)
• Message queuing (RabbitMQ or equivalent)

3. Deep knowledges in major data concepts

• ELT and ETL process
• Data lake and data warehouse
• Data governance
• Integration middleware solutions

4. Proficiency with

• AWS
• Docker
• Versioning with Git
• Continuous Integration & Deployment
