FAST Recruitment is looking for his client, a Holding Company in Luxembourg, for a :

Cyber Security Officer (M/F)

Missions :

• Protect proactively the IT infrastructure, the systems, the edge devices, the networks, and the data at 360° in order to guarantee their confidentiality, integrity and availability and to prevent unauthorized access, data breaches and security weaknesses while monitoring and reacting to cyber-attacks
• As new security threats pop up all the time, stay up to date with them and with the latest tactics hackers are employing in the field
• Design and the implementation of the necessary security measures—taking into account the cyber security risks— while making sure that security systems are installed, properly configured and regularly updated and that all other IT systems in general are properly updated with the most recent security patches
• Set, implement and execute user access, identity and access management systems controls for standard and privileged users
• Monitor networks, applications and cyber security systems (firewalls, proxy, VPN, IDS/IPS) to identify irregular activity
• Perform regular controls to ensure cyber security practices are compliant with cyber security policies
• Control the deployment and the update of endpoint detection and prevention tools (antimalware software, endpoint firewall) on existing and new IT assets in order to avoid malicious hacks or infections
• Set, implement and execute patch management controls to monitor the effective update of systems
• Set, implement and execute controls of the installation, the configuration and the update of cyber security systems (firewalls, proxy, VPN, IDS/IPS)
• Implement a comprehensive vulnerability management systems across all IT assets on-premises and in the cloud
• Analyse and formalize the Cyber Security risks within IT (as from the first line of defence perspective)
• Maintain awareness of emerging threats and vulnerabilities
• Write technical reports related to cyber security
• Respond to Head Office and other entities enquiries related to Cyber Security
• Respond to Internal and External Auditors enquiries related to Cyber Security
• Organize and follow up with the yearly ethical hacking test of the network and of the connected applications and their countermeasures
• Establish, develop, support and liaise with a SOC/SIEM (Security Operations Center/Security Information and Event Management System)
• Work with IT operations and IT development teams to establish cyber security measures
• Work with Risk Management Department to report identified cyber security risks and countermeasures and to translate them into business impact
• Work with the Information Security Officer in order to set up and maintain a shared cyber security incident response plan and a disaster recovery/business continuity plan in the context of a Cyber Security incident
• Work with Human Resources Department, Compliance Department and other department heads in order to educate employees on how to identify suspicious activities practically, like for example phishing attempts by email
• Work with project managers to challenge the cyber security level of new projects and to provide them with recommendations and guidelines
• Work with the CIO to ensure compliance with regulations, to recommend best practices and to influence the policies and procedures of the department from a cyber security perspective

Qualification :

• Bachelo’r degree in IT or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001
• Advanced knowledge of network requirements and procedures
• Advanced knowledge of computer and network security systems, applications, procedures and techniques
• Knowledge with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Suite, IT Security
• Strong knowledge in hardware, software and networks
• Deep understanding of how hackers work and ability to keep up with the fast pace of change in the criminal cyber-underworld
• Fluent in English & French
